Lets see what kind of number we can count of for a Mr. Days watch party...

I can think of at least 4-6 non-posters I would bring as well. If you guys remember the turnout we got at Summers for the 'Cuse game on ridiculously short notice, we should easily be able to exceed this, as the game is guaranteed to be on television.

Where is Mr. Days? Metro accessible?
And why not somewhere in DC? Or, ya know, Tombs?

Actually, NewsChannel 8 is available on cable, but not DirecTV, unless you also have FullCourt. So it's something to explore, but I would talk to management at the Tombs to make sure it would be on, before making plans to meet there for the game.
Mr. Days is definitely Metro accessible, as it is about a block south of the Clarendon stop on the Orange line. Summers is similarly accessible, about 100 yards from Courthouse Metro.

Part of an email I received
I will be at Conte myself, but just another idea. Bailey's is a huge and decent sports bar. Tombs is nice, but the tv's are too small and not plentiful enough. I cannot believe I am saying that after all the games I have watched there, but time to move on.

If I don't go out of town, I'm there with a couple friends.
Bailey's in the Ballston Common mall in Arlington is where the Class of 2000 is having its viewing party.... do we want to hook up with them perhaps?

Either place works for me since they're convenient to Wilson Blvd.! However, we should decide on one or the other, preferably after we get feedback on Channel 8 accessibility at Mr. Days......

We should decide on one place- Mr. Day's is always good, and Bailey's is hosting the Class of 2000....

Bailey's is huge and one of the better sports bars I've been to - I would definitely say Bailey's over Mr Day's.

I think that we should run this whole thing through MeetUp.org.

To my knowledge, News Channel 8 is just picking up the feed from ESPN Fullcourt. So it doesn't matter if the Tombs has NC8, as long as they have Fullcourt.

Lost in this is the question of why there is no "GU in Bumblef---, NY" group. Oh yeah, I forgot, Syracuse isn't a real city and sucks major a$$. Their biggest attraction is the Salt Museum.
Orange alum are just jealous that they didn't get to go to school in the thriving metropolis we did. While I'm sure most Orange see Rhino's as the "greatest bar ever" compared to what they had in their backwater burg, us Hoyas know it's just an overpriced meat market. Tombs beats it any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Glad to know you have no vitriol to spew in the direction of the Orange :-).
It doesn't matter; we can watch pathetic alums from rival schools fail to score with DC chicks in any bar we choose, so no need to worry about 'Cuse folks doing just that at Rhino.
so, RFD on Saturday?
