Watching Jesse's comments about Obama, I can't help but think that Jesse views Obama's nomination and possible election as a real step toward a color-blind society which would put him and fellow extortionist Al Sharpton right out of business.
Isn't it funny that the Reverend has never run for an office he could actually have won? Of course he hasn't. God forbid he wins and would have to show up for a job. This cheap two-bit Chicagohustler is watching the first step toward his obsolescence and he doesn't like it even a little bit.

Based on their reaction to his FISA vote, I think there are many on the left who think Obama has already had his n*** cut off.

Seems Jesse also dropped the "N" bomb on Obama. If he were a white guy there'd be hell to pay.

If it's true, I hope they make him do the Don Imus, Michael Richards circuit where he has to go on Al Sharpton's radio show, BET, Hot97, and then wander Harlem apologizing until he fades into obscurity.

According to Drudge, "So yes, Jesse Jackson did use the 'N' word. But it was not directed at Barack Obama." What Jackson actually said is that Obama spoke down to blacks and that he was "telling ****** how to behave." I still ultimately agree, Elvado, that if this were a white guy, he'd be running around town kissing ass to make up for it. But it's not AS bad as your post made it sound. I thought he called Obama one.

Worse than calling Obama the "N" word, he referred to an entire group of people (Obama's audience) that way.
Obama as public figure willingly subjects himself to vitriol and ridicule. His audience, be it black white or purple, does not willingly encounter hatred from the esteemed man of God Reverend Jackson.
See my first post on this topic. Jesse Jackson is a two-bit, race-baiting, Chicago style hustler from way back.

THere was an interesting article in our paper today (which means it was probably in the NYT last Friday). In any case, the point was that Jesse Jackson is coming to the conclusion that he is now irrelevant. I would argue that he has been irrelevant for a long time, maybe forever. But either way, the point is that there is a passing of the torch so to speak, and he is reluctant to hand it over. In a twisted way, I think that might be dead on. JJ might just have some jealous resentment that Obama is being accepted on a large scale whereas he never was. Essentially he might think that he was the victim of some racism but because of his efforts, somebody like Barack comes along and reaps the benefits.

It's much more nenialthan that. Jesse knows that when African-Americans succeed in this country, he is out of business. An equal playing field means that race-baiting extortionist like Sharpton and Jackson are out of work. He has a vested financial interest in keeping his own people down.
