My point was that for 8 POY awards and 37 multiple time first team All-Americans, UNC sure hasn't been that dominant.
In other words, they win a lot more awards than games.

I think the jersey should represent the first jersey that the player wore in an NBA game. Obviously it was the Sonics for Jeff, it will be the Pacers for Roy, and if he makes it, there should be a Kings jersey up there for Pat. If Pat doesn't make it, then as much as I love the guy, I don't think his jersey should be up there. I mean, you gotta make the honor mean something.
I'll admit, when I first saw the NBA jersey wall I thought it was a bit weird - shouldn't we be celebrating these players' accomplishments as Hoyas, instead of viewing Georgetown as merely a launching pad for the NBA? However, now that we have it, I think it's unique and I don't think we should scrap it.

Has anyone determined yet whether "being drafted" is in fact a requirement for the wall? If Wallace or even Tyler Crawford do some time in the NBDL or Europe and then make it onto an NBA team's roster in a couple years or so, would they be eligible for this honor? It sounds reasonable to me.

It sounds reasonable to me. If you did it like that virtually every guy would be on the wall. Isn't Sead playing somewhere?

He did play for a bit in Montenegro after graduation, though.

Those guys would have to make the NBA after playing somewhere else to get their NBA jersey on the wall. We're not talking about putting Kenny Izzo's Merry Monks jersey from Ireland up there just because he played somewhere.
