The 15 will be cut down to 12 before league games start. Hopefully Jonathan Wallace of George Mason makes the cut. He looks a lot like his brother that went to another school.

This article is dated from 5 years ago. May be it's a misprint but I don't think this article can be used to accurately claim that Jon made the team's summer roster. Does anyone have any other sources?

Unreal.

And this from the Post ( tinyurl.com/5tedj2): The roster includes Brown and free agents such as former Georgetown star Jonathan Wallace, who went undrafted but is hoping to show the Wizards or another NBA team that he's worthy of an invitation to training camp.

I'm going to go on record right now that JWallace has no chance--NO CHANCE--of making the team.
I'll also admit that I was of the opinion that no walk-on, originally bound for the Ivy Leagues: could be a 4 year starter on some great Hoya teams; could be our all-time leading 3 point shooter; could so coldly break Psycho T's and UNC's heart and give JTIII his first final 4; would knock down 3 free throws in a HOSTILE environment at Marquette; and (insterting any one of the many ridiculous things I wouldn't have expected JWallace to have done, but that he did like it was no big deal).
So I was wrong once...I'm fine with being proven wrong again.

while he has little chance of making the wizards he may prove his worth and may get picked up by another team. still a long shot, but a shot nevertheless and I don't think anyone thought that possible when he was headed to Princeton.

shot was even higher than usual for jon, it was ridiculously high, like 20 ft above the basket high, and it hit nothin but net

According to the box score, he pulled down 1 rebound and shot 1 for 1 in a little over three minutes. So no, probably not worth the replay...

Yeah, he did not get much PT. Wiz really focused on their starting 5. I'm willing to bet as the games go on he will get more run out there.
