I would like for somebody to cite me some examples where Rudy Gay has shown potential on the basketball court. Where? I'm not talking about highs school. I saw him in high school. Running the full-length court and dunking on guys 5 foot 8 the whole game is not potential. Okay he is athletic, so what? There are a lot of great athletes who can't play the game well. Basketball IQ? No. Either you can play the game or not. James Gist is better than Rudy Gay. I have seen signs or flashes of James Gist's talent. He is raw, but you see flashes on the basketball court not out of a ESPN commentators mouth. Just like you did with Chris Wilcox when he didn't contribute his freshman year that much. You saw flashes of greatness or potential. I do not see it with Rudy Gay.

When he starts to show his "potential" we can make comparisons with him to Jeff.
