Lic, I love your enthusiasm and support of Georgetown, but can't you be a tiny bit more clear in your posts. If I didnt know exactly what you were talking about I'd be ripping my hair out trying to figure out what you were saying, or Id just ignore it as nonsensical rambling.
I believe you are talking about the caricature wall in the Alumni House, which is pretty cool and definitely worth mentioning. You have a lot of good things to say, but you present it in such a fashion that half the people on this board don't even bother looking at your posts.
But hey, I guess its your style and I shouldn't care if half the board doesn't even bother deciphering your hidden messages, which can sometimes be rather interesting.

I thought the post was just fine. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Lichoyaese is a 6 credit, 2 semester course in Languages and Linguistics - great to take as an elective - season tickets & a "We Are Georgetown" T-shirt included in course curriculum.

I enjoy your posts Lic! Even when I'm not sure what they are about. I do know that you are a fan of the 7 footers though.

I do too, but sometimes clarification is nice. Hoyatables can speak for those who didn't rip out chunks of their hair after reading this thread.

I enjoy your posts Lic! Even when I'm not sure what they are about. I do know that you are a fan of the 7 footers though. Lic, your posts drive me crazy... and not in the kooky "if I didn't know what you were talking about I'd be pulling my hair out" kind of way. They are infuriating in my opinion because I know that as a human adult professional and Georgetown graduate you must be capable of putting together a logical, coherent thought on a message board. But you choose to post under a persona that can be described as childish at best. I know my opinion won't change the way you post and you will probably respond with some impish series of sad faces accompanied by a rush of support by a number of posters saying things like "When you post 6,000 times you've earned the right to be nonsensical" as well as those who will point out all you've done for Georgetown and the basketball program in particular over the years (and trust me, I don't discount that. I thank you for everything you've done and continue to do to make this school and program better) but I was getting sick after all that LicLove, so I had to inject some objectivity into this discussion.

I can sympathize with that view that it's difficult to understand sometimes. I won't talk about lic's board productivity or his contributions to Georgetown as a whole, but I do want to say just this one thing. Without lic, we would not have: 1. Bananas 2. Meanery Two things I don't think any Hoya teams or fans should ever be without. ;D Also, I'm pretty sure criticizing lic's posting style has jumped the sh......never mind. That's just not funny anymore.

I think an ultra enthusiastic inner child sort of poster is unique and great for the board. But we all have our own opinions.

I'm a (relative) newcomer, and since I've been here it seems like it's been nothing but sunshine and puppy dogs in response to Lic's posts.

Every now and then a young-un comes and criticizes Lic's posts, only to be ignored. There used to be an "ignore" button next to the poster's name, but that, too, has changed.

As Boz wrote last year on the D.C. Sports Bog: I suspect some Georgetown grads posting here aren't equipped to appreciate James Joyce either

I like lic's HoyaTalk postings. But I love his blog: lichoya.com/It just seems like I get more out of the blog. Making lichoya.com my home page saved my life.

I like lic's HoyaTalk postings. But I love his blog: lichoya.com/It just seems like I get more out of the blog. Making lichoya.com my home page saved my life. My only regret is that it's not updated nearly enough. I want play-by-play at home lic events. What did he have for breakfast this morning? How does that relate to his sentiment on the Jeremiah transfer? (Well, he probably ate a banana...) Either way, if you're really "upset" over lic's postings you're either a. an idiot or b. should look behind you, and remove the stick accordingly. This is an online messageboard about a college basketball team. So sorry if you can't take some enthusiasm.
