Duke and FL as 2 and 3? Did I miss Duke getting a big man and FL getting good?

As 2 and 3. I was surprised by Florida at 3 much more so than Duke at 2. Seems like Vegas has a lot of respect for Florida's young talent and Donovan's coaching ability.

I guess since Florida landed Vernon Macklin it really launched them up there in the ranks.

are these the opening odds? anything after the opening odds are determined by the bets so it means your average person values team x over team y.
your average person hears about duke non-stop and thinks they are a title lock 3 out of 4 years due to their history of success but more importantly dukie v and the rest of the espn hype machine, so they bet on duke more than they would or should, making the odds out of wack. similarly, never bet on UCLA, USC or any so-cal team in vegas- there are so many people from so-cal there on a regular basis that it skews the odds

Weak front-court but their guards next year are going to be ridiculous
