Hi all, i'm about to buy tickets for the first and second rounds in philly next year (ncaa.com will link you to ticketmaster at $220/seat for all philly sessions that weekend). does anyone know how the ncaa assigns seating if you just buy tickets for a specific site? ticket assignment seems to be via lottery so i'm guessing seating might be that way too. if i'm gonna be in the back of the upper deck, i'm not gonna bother buying seats. thanks!

Tickets bought through these lotteries are generally the worst available. The pecking order for seats is something like this: first to the NCAA's Corporate Partners, then the participating schools, then probably a few more to the NCAA's Corporate Partners, then to the host institution, then a couple to the NCAA's Corporate Partners. Then, and only then, do they make the remaining 19 seats in the arena available to the public by lottery...
