There it is. We all knew it was coming. Davis just picked his MASSIVE UPSET!!!! Davidson over the "mighty Hoyas of Georgetown" tomorrow. Clark Kellogg told him that he was wrong, so props to Kellogg.

So now thats WVU, Syracuse, Marquette, L'ville (2), Memphis, and Davidson that he's picked us to lose to. The only game he's picked us to win so far this year was UConn, and that was well before UConn was regarded as anything.

It's kind of fun that he picks against us every week and we make him look like an idiot every week. I like it. Also, I'll say it again: This moron picked us to beat Davidson in his bracket posted here: thiswebsitestinks.com/ncaa_standings.aspSo he has his bases covered either way. Also, note that he's 17th out of 19 in the "expert" standings. Dumbass

I was sitting here watching that with some Hoyas friends and my exact quote was "A**hole." Everyone looked at me and then someone said, "If I ever meet that guy, I will punch him in the babymaker." We then continued to enjoy our day. Seth Davis, on the other hand, will continue to eat poo.

How many picks do these experts get to make? Fill out a bracket, then change picks as the tournament develops?
Davis had Kansas/USC in the Midwest Regional Final. He missed on Temple, So. Alabama, St. Mary's, St. Joe's, Kentucky, BYU, Kent St., Drake, and Arizona.
That's 5 out of 8 7/10 or 8/9 games that he missed--the ones where being an "expert" would presumably give him some insight. He picked the Hoyas to beat Davidson, but now he says Davidson will win? His bracket got destroyed right away the first day by Kansas State, but then he was tooting his own horn yesterday for predicting that upsets would happen on Friday, when the only upset he accurately predicted was Siena? Are we supposed to award him points for picking UConn to lose in the second round because they lose in the first round without A.J. Price, and because he had Drake in the Sweet Sixteen?
He clearly doesn't care for the Big East, notwithstanding our 7-1 record yesterday (7-0 in games where the BE team's star player didn't play fewer than 20 minutes), having picked against WVU, Marquette, and Nova in the first round, and placing ZERO Big East teams in the Elite 8.
Look at the answer to his Q&A from yesterday on the SI.com website. He bends over backwards to object to the WKU coach's comment that Davis gave them no chance, saying that on his way to picking Drake to the Sweet Sixteen he said "if they get by WKU." That's a prediction now? So if I'd said, "Georgetown will have a tough game in the second round if they get by UMBC," I'm now predicting that UMBC might win? I though I was merely stating a fact, that you have to beat a team to advance to the next game.
Can we start a campaign to replace him with Ken Pomeroy? Idiot.

Well, poo-eater alread got one wrong today, as he predicted Duke over WVU. He also unequivocally said that K-State would beat Wisconsin, and even gave them a shot to get to the Final Four (because they already beat Kansas once there year and apparently home court advantage doesn't exist any more). I'm now rooting for Wisconsin, only to see the smug smile wiped off poo-eater's face.

I don't like how there is a question mark in the title of this thread. It makes it seem as though there was a doubt about this...

It's his karma to be wrong, and ours to keep on winning. So let him continue. Wilbon picks us to go to the Final 4.

So since I accurately picked WVU over Duke, am I more "expert" than STD?

He even looks like the poo is getting to his complexion.
I mean, even Dookie Vitale picked us for the Final Four and not his precious Devils. Though he seems to have replaced his obsession w/ Coach K with one for Tyler.

OK, so after watching Kevin Love dominate A&M with 7 blocks and two sick fadeaways towards the end, helping UCLA to pull a Georgetown* and advance, Poo-Face says something like Brooke Lopez is the only interior player left in the tournament who poses an incredibly tough matchup for defenses. Nothing about the aforementioned Love, a force of nature known as Roy, or even the gritty spirit of Hans-bra. All through it, the poo-eating grin never left this guy's face. For poor analysis, he has leapfrogged Gottlieb as the worst studio guy in all of college basketball.
* A Georgetown: Noun. Completely and utterly shutting down a leading team down the stretch, thus getting back into the game and achieving victory.

Not 'something like' - he said there was no other player left in the tournament that could match up with Brook Lopez inside.
I think the guy just blurts out whatever comes to mind without thinking. It is the only logical explanation.

I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to re-watch the WVU vs. Duke game.
In the introductory segment, he was wrong on all but one prediction
Duke over WVU Kansas St. over Wisconsin ND over Wash St. Kansas and UCLA to breeze.
There has to be some accountability here. Anyone have an email address for CBS or Sports Illustrated brass?

WOW! SI.com was able to "catch up" with CBS studio analyst Seth Davis, the same guy they pay to write columns for their website. What a fortunate find. Of course, he takes the opportunity to again pick Davidson (with his usual brilliant analysis): SI.com: What are you watching tomorrow? STD: My big upset pick is Davidson over Georgetown. You gotta take a shot to make a shot. I just like its quickness, how well coached it is. I think the Wildcats are going to chase Georgetown and play a lot faster than the Hoyas want to play, which no one has done all year. I dont know why I anticipate Davidson. If they play Georgetown 10 times, Georgetown will win eight, but Davidson just has to beat them once. sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/seth_davis/03/23/sat.questions/index.html?eref=T1
