I think that I remember there being a HoyaTalk pool on Yahoo or ESPN last year. Anyone out there setting up something similar for this year?

I sure haven't seen one, but it'd be awesome if we set one up like the one from NDNation. Check it out. www.ndnation.com/ncaa/men/reportpackage.htmlIn the alternative, I guess I could set up a quick and dirty Yahoo pool...

That software that is powering the Notre Dame bracket only costs $30 and will allow up to 1,000 users. That is a pretty slick package. www.turbotourney.com/pricing.htmlIf I had seen that earlier I would have volunteered to put this together. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Why can't we just do a free one for pride on CBS?

Thanks a lot FormerHoya - I filled mine out and I have a "surprise" champion Actually - 3 Big East teams getting to San Antonio, and NO number one seeds making the Regional Finals... I'm dreaming of my 5 Mill as I type

After one day of action we have a 5 way tie for first on the Hoyatalk quick and dirty pool
1 The Wright Stuff brenna.mcgee 15 15 of 16 191 1 vivanloshoyas olejesac 15 15 of 16 191 1 Jack's Fresh Picks naglej2002 15 15 of 16 191 1 SFHoya99 gogorath92064 15 15 of 16 191 1 Lets Get Wattaded The Rwhip Herself
Would the Wright Stuff and Lets Get Wattaded please identify themselves by their handle so that we may mercilessly rip into them upon their inevitable downfall.
The others have already so identified themselves, their taunting is imminent.

For what it's worth, there were two 15-1 entries in our pool yesterday, and four 14-2 entries, which is where my "Sagarin" entry sits. Overall it was a pretty easy day, with K. St. being the only really significant underdog that won, and actually they were a very popular upset pick. THe Kent St. loss to UNLV was probaboy the other most misses game, although had Duke lost to Belmont like they almost did, everyone would have lost the game, but we would all be happy nonetheless.

My superstitious worry of the day:
Sorry I didn't enter the Hoyatalk pool, but I do have one with a group of friends on CBS Sportsline and the Midwest is the only bracket where I have made any mistakes yet (three of them in fact - Kent St., USC and Gonzaga).
Lord, please don't let my lousy picks impact the Hoyas ability to advance through this bracket. I don't ask for much, but I am asking for this.

I'll identify myself as Let's Get Wattaded. See, there's a strategy for not picking us. Not picking us and picking UNC is jinxing them because you know they'll choke. I'm not looking to win, I'm just looking to gain a little karma. Of course I want us to win but seeing as how I've pretty much NEVER gotten the national champion right, I figured picking someone other than us would continue the trend.

I'm The Wright Stuff... Take your best shot...
And seeing as I had Clemson winning a few games, I'll bow out now...

Not that it matters as the tournament was garbage for most of us anyway, but congratulations to SFHoya99 on the win.
Also, congrats to me for being in the top 5. The top five is as follows: 1 SFHoya99 2 HoyaParanoia1984 3 F'in ANIMAL 4 guhoyasfan36 5 FormerHoya
Special mention to H2Oya05 as the highest entry with the Hoyas winning at #7.

Woo-hoo, I guess. KenPom wins, as I just entirely took his pre-tourney rankings. Not exactly a stunning victory for my own prediction skills.

Screw all of you in the Top 5 for not picking the Hoyas to win! Double screw you to PhillyHoya/Let's Get Wattaded for not picking the Hoyas to win AND not finishing in the Top 5! So, basically, you have no reason whatsoever to feel good about yourself. ;D (Edit: I finished dead last in the pool I was in, by the way)
