I saw a number of recruits, riley was the only one that I recognized completely (since i only follow the recruiting from the great posts from RDF, Balla, id, etc. i never see them in person and dont really know what these kids look like. I did recognize riley (at least it was a 6-11ish black kid that looked like him) and he was right behind the bench and smiling wide through the good parts and looked on edge at all the times we all were. Also he stayed for most of the trophy presentation. for the others that were looking the kid i am talking about was behind the bench in all white.
also there was a kid that went with the coaches down the tunnel after the game. he was talking with one of the assistants and was smiling and laughing alot. i did not recognize him. he was black, about 6 foot to 6-4 (yeah that is a big difference but i was looking down so i had bad persective and the people around him werent necessarily of average height so there was no reference). he looked really young but more like young for his age. he looked sort of like Hollis but seeing as he is from california i am doubting this and hollis is 6-6 and i dont think this kid was that tall.
there were a number of other young, tall men sitting in the few rows behind the bench but i didnt recognize any of them. all seemed to enjoy themselves

i think i lip read his father saying to him: "that could be you some day" pointing at roy lifting the trophy. riley's eyes teared up, stood, and saluted roy who pointed at dash and gave him a chest pound
ok that didnt happen but i hope he enjoyed himself. no matter who you were rooting for- it was a great game

Who was the recruit right behind the bench with the white shirt and cap? I think he had his mother next to him.

Chech this photo's background for the guy with the white cap and shirt: tinyurl.com/3dqnsqHe's a FAN!!! I rewatched the game and this guy suffered and rejoiced like a true Hoya. I don't know who he is, but he's coming.

He is not a recruit to my knowledge. Think he is a friend of one of the players or someone close to the program.

Great find Raleigh---Rowley was definately there. I saw a picture that only a psychopathic stalker or as we also are known--"recruiting geek" would recognize. In the "Game Story Links" above--go to the pictures provided by Vox Populi and go to the one where Jessie is clapping and Coach Burke is talking to him. If you look between Jessie and Vernon Macklin--Rowley is pictured with is head turned.
Not that anyone here needed anymore proof--but this shows I'm truly a Hoya fanatic--or need a life--but rather be a Hoya psycho fan. Anyone who is having dinner with his girlfriend on Friday night and thinking "Wonder how Greg Monroe and Helen Cox did in State Title game" needs help--but she understands that she is my mistress---I'm "Married" to Hoya basketball. ;D

rdf, i know what you are saying. i was snowboarding on saturday, doing mostly circles and squares. then i looked at my watch, it said 11:45. time for the diamonds to get back to the condo to watch the game. had to ditch the missus. when she walked in at 12 30 she just rolled her eyes, "oh, georgetown." and not a word said after that...
