Yes I actually have been mentioning that for weeks now and wonder if it ever explains any mistakes on the court. It's absolutely very obvious and potentially a problem.

Every time Roy Hibbert blinks, a child who is pure of heart gets their most heartfelt wish.

He's been doing this since last year I noticed this since last year. I notice it mostly during breaks in the action when a camera focuses on him while he's sitting on the bench. I've never really thought much of it...I haven't seen it affect his play

some people when interviewed blink a lot. its nerves. ever watch bob dole on face the nation. he blinks like crazy as if he is fluttering his eyes on purpose.
if its a tic its an obsessive compulsive disorder and can get easily addressed if he wants to. probably would help his game and draft value. hes probably just stressed about stuff.

if its a tic its an obsessive compulsive disorder and can get easily addressed if he wants to. probably would help his game and draft value. hes probably just stressed about stuff. Another player who tics a lot (at least when I saw him interviewed a few times a few years ago) is K-Mart. I actually have mild tourrette syndrome, and OCD usually happens as a byproduct of tourrette's, but I wouldn't classify a tic as OCD, which manifests mostly in other ways. This hard, frequent blinking is actually a symptom I had when I was younger. If Roy's case is tourrette's, it's not as simple as "getting it addressed." You either wait until it goes into remission, or you medicate, which would possibly alter your moods and energy levels dramatically. Ultimately it doesn't matter, though, because it doesn't affect any activity he's asked to perform, unless somebody has noticed something I haven't. I'd say it's more of a non-issue than Morrison's diabetes, which was a non-issue to begin with.

I have mentioned Roy's blinking to my wife during games this year. It is even more noticable if you are watching the game on the first fast forward speed on TiVo.
And I always though K-Mart had tourette's. I remmber one interview when he was with the Nets where it seemed really bad.

OK, this is going nowhere fast, is a personal thing for the student, and has nothing to do with basketball.
Ergo - locked.
