before entering the main page of guhoyas.com another page pops up with all the teams that have been defeated by our Hoyas at Verizon this season...on the right Louisville is the lone team, and underneath it says "Nike Dunk Promotion"- Anyone know what that is?

As an enticement to students to show up, GU is raffling off a pair of Nike Dunks, which are like regular Nikes except ... more fun.
The Nike Dunk High Supremes retail at $135 on Nike's site. Wording - "Straight out of 1985, the Men's Nike Dunk High Supreme 08 is a re-engineered version of the much beloved classic. Hyped up with a reptile patterned overlay from ankle to heel, it's no wonder the Dunk High has had such incredible staying power."

That is true, the shoes are straight out of 1985!
Only one small correction.... Nike is giving out 150 pairs of Nike Dunks.

I hope this helps clarify.
Nike is honoring some of Georgetown's most TRUE student fans.
To celebrate 25 years of the Nike Dunk and the TRUE Hoya fan, we have produced an exclusive Georgetown Nike Dunk. Nike is giving these limited-edition kicks to a random drawing of student fans who are in line for the game before 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Basically, as students line up for their wristbands (as they normally do) Nike will be entering students to win.
One quick edit: These shoes will not be for sale... only 150 pairs were made!

Is this being promoted across campus? Because with most students on break...seems like it might be a bit late to use it as a promotional tool.

And if a student gets a 9.5 or 11 mens please PM and I will make it worth your while.
Now if I can just find the Nike player exclusives from last year.

I believe to be eligible you had sign-up at the last home game (not sure if they were signing people up at any other games this year). Those who signed up will be given a different wristband and I believe 150 of those will receive the shoes. Of course I'm putting these pieces together myself ... the only part I know for sure is that there are a few more steps than just showing up next week.

hoyamarketing -- VIP packages and game worn women's soccer jerseys are nice and all, but it seems like the fanbase is crying out for a few pairs of these kicks to be auctioned as well.
