He's looked great...really getting to the basket off the bounce and setting jessie up twice for wide open looks....that's the dimension this offense has been missing

Chris Wright adds so much to our team...Only his first half back and the difference is s noticeable, a true slasher who creates for others...he loves that drive and kick out for 3...welcome back

he's taken a lot of pressure off jon and jessie...jon got a great rest midway through the first half and his presence really lets us speed things up...he really has been a missing piece

I was worried about chemistry trying to fit him back into the rotation in the postseason.
My list of worries just got one shorter.

I hope this doesn't come off as hyperbolic, but I think Chris Wright has raised the ceiling of this team from a final four to no ceiling at all.

I agree - it's amazing that we are plugging in a McDonald's All American for the postseason. And one who appears to be playing great. If we play well, we can beat anybody. Anybody.

Some of us have been trying to tell you guys---Wright adds a dimension to the team on both ends of court and you notice how so many perimeter guys ALL SHOT WELL in SAME GAME? Notice the ball movement? Notice the attacking/aggressive style? Wallace/Sapp can play more aggressive because they don't need to do EVERYTHING on both ends--they have 2 kids who can come in and give them some rest--and it makes this team better/deeper.
Thing I love most--watch the zone offense with Chris Wright in the game--watch the ball movement--that is what I noticed early on--and loved.
BTW--the guy who trashed Vernon in the "In-Game Discussion"--I thought he was a key factor today--he rebounded--blocked 3 shots, and was aggressive/hedged/played some fine defense. To get no points from Center position--but 9/10 boards, 3 blocks, and and win by 19--he obviously didn't hurt Hoyas that much. Scary thing is--once Roy matches the intensity of his teammates--and he will--today was a game where everyone was at 100 MPH and Roy was at 50--he needs to be more decisive with ball/quicker with moves--because he's got more firepower/more confident team surrounding him now they can play more aggressive/take open shots.
Ball movement was brilliant and ATTACKING was my favorite thing about this game--we saw Hoyas attack for an entire game--and if they do so--we're as tough of an out as there is in any Tournament.

I thought Vern filled in nicely today...
there was a point where he looked gassed, giving up on the fast break then not being strong with the ball...
other than that, nicely done from Vern.

Chris played great considering how long he has been out. Two great drives and kick outs to Jesse and another great set up to Junior. Plus, he's good defensively, a very good ball handler and the kid can shoot. Oh, one more thing, he's vocal like Junior.

Vern had 4 fouls--which is why he gave up the dunk and he ended up fouling out when he should've thrown ball off a Nova player or just thrown it to Sapp in corner--but he brought effort/energy today--and in 15 minutes of play--3 blocked shots and 5 rebounds is fine by me--although I thought he had more boards--seemed like it to me.

Vern was okay today because we didn't need or use him offensively. He is good at what you said - blocking shots and grabbing some boards (especially out of his area). His offensive game is rough to watch most of the time and infuriating when he won't go up strong (probably because he doesn't want to get fouled).

You know I believe Tyler deserved some burn today. Say what you will that guy should've been on the floor today. I am not saying 30 minutes mind you, but the kid couldn't hurt up by 15 plus. He has earned his stripes. J. W. was thing of beauty today. Jessie was standing tall. Summers strong. Roy will recover against WVU. Good to see Chris adding promise. But to leave out #22 even at the end for a couple of minutes makes no sense. As with senior day to that effect.

This is tournament time, not "let's get everybody minutes" time. Tyler isn't going to see the floor much with Chris Wright around, and as good a guy as he is reputed to be, I'm okay with that.

i have a real hard time doubting jt3 (everytime i do, i end up looking like an idiot)
i thought we would see tyler during the comeback by 'nova, but we didnt
crawford will get minutes when coach knows that he needs him in there
very impressed by what chris was able to give today after not playing in 2008
