What's funny about that "expert" analysis is that every team that they picked to flop proved them wrong last year. Hilarious!
Biggest Flop Davis: Georgetown You've gotta love Roy Hibbert and Jeff Green up front, but college hoops is still a guard-oriented sport, and the Hoyas simply don't have the perimeter talent and depth to justify the lofty preseason expectations.
Wahl: Florida's NCAA tournament I won't use the word "flop," but anything short of another national title will be a disappointment for the Gators, and all it will take is one bad day in March to keep it from happening. My guess: Florida will be better than it was during last year's regular season and earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAAs -- but fall short of the Final Four.
Winn: Ohio State "Flop" might be too harsh; I think the Buckeyes will finish second in the Big Ten. The way they're being ranked, though -- a baffling fourth in the preseason coaches poll -- the general expectation seems to be that they'll reach the Final Four. Even with Oden, I think they're too young to pull it off.

I think he has picked against us 5 straight times - WVU, LVille, Syracuse, Marquette, Lville. He also takes a shot at us almost every time he is on the air on CBS. It's pretty hilarious.

A certain giddiness is beginning to take over......
The giddiness that only comes with knowing that game time is almost here.
(and most of the hours between now and then I will probably be at various levels of inebriation, so those don't really count as time anyway)

Seth Davis liked us last year, right?
He does seem to take a lot of shots at us, but maybe he just really thinks we're no good and just lucky this year. So he's a moron, but not a moron with an agenda.

Brook Lopez took 22 shots yesterday against UCLA. @@ shots. Okay, he made only 8 missing a lot of close attempts. And his team lost. But he was being aggressive. The Hoyas will need that type of aggression from Roy. For the love of God I hope he actually takes more than 7 shots. 16 plus would be nice.

For some reason I don't have as much anxiety about this game as the ones in the past. It may be because the Hoyas have up to this point won all the games they were supposed to win. They have held serve at home and have only 3 road losses in the league. This game will say a lot about the Hoyas chances of getting back to Final Four. I think they are ready to show why they have not lost at home all year. Let the games begin.

We cannot lose this game, since it is the last home game for Pat, Jon, Roy, and Tyler. I will put the Nevada Hex on Padget (whatever that may be). As lic says we just have to score one more point than they do. Let's get the house rocking and bring in another Big East Title. And I will again try to watch the whole game and not succumb to anxiety.
GO HOYAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rome burns, while watching the house of Cards fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So often college basketball is about the energy that the teams bring to the game and is able to sustain. It seems we are all so fired up as fans that I hope we are some of that extra energy that the team can draw on in the second half if the game. If it is a tight game in the second half we need to sustain our energy and help bouy the team. I have been to almost every home game since 1985 and I can't ever remember being this excited!!! So awesome to be a Hoya fan these days!!!!

According to the ESPN hype machine there isn't any game going on today other than UNC at Duke.
