FYI, we are 14-0 this year and 19-0 the past two years with our last loss coming at home to Villanova last year.
I thought of this after they noted that Vandy is 17-0 and has the 7th longest home win streak.
All the complaints about Verizon aren't necessarily justified considering this solid home court advantage.

I'm not sure you understand causality, but you're right in that we have played well at home in the last two years.

I am concerned about the L'ville game though. I know of at least 8 seats in the young alumni section that will be populated by the Cardinal faithful.

We play the Johnnies before anyone else so this isn't like commenting that somebody shoots 90% right before a must make free throw.

I'm not sure you understand causality, but you're right in that we have played well at home in the last two years. Agreed. We actually were almost as good away from home (16-4) as at home (14-3) last season. Maybe all the complaints about Verizon aren't warranted because we obviously should just play on the road. Or maybe we've got the type of home court advantage that pops up when we're in the top 3% of teams like it did for the Cap Centre in 1995-96.

We've also been the favored team for all of those games with the exception of maybe last year's Pitt and Marquette games. Losing any of these 19 games and games to go this season would be unacceptable, no? We're a good team. It's what we should be doing. We aren't Rutgers trying to steal games.

I don't see any tigers around. So by your logic, I could say that this rock scares away tigers.
Lisa, I'd like to buy your rock.
