Might feature:
Georgetown-Syracuse Louisville-WVU UConn-Pitt Notre Dame-Marquette
...and that's just Thursday. Any combination of those would be an incredible day of basketball. Get your popcorn and by "popcorn" I mean beer.

really think regular season champ will come down to last game with us beating Louisville at home and Roy, Tyler and JW leaving the MCI center having just won the Big East

I agree on L-Ville at home being the key to at least a tie for the title. THat game was circled from the beginning as the key game.
I'm more "worried" about UCONN. They are on a roll and have an easier schedule. They can get to 15-3 or worst case 14-4. That Roy shot could be the most important shot of the year in terms of a #1 seed in the Big East.
Being #1 is critical too. It keeps us from L-Ville/UCONN in the semis and puts us in the ND/Marquette side. Big different in my mind.

Who would you guys like to play in the BET? I'd like to get Cuse on Thursday afternoon, I'd like Pitt on Friday night, and then I want UL under the bright lights on Saturday night. I'd really like to play Villanova again but they'll have a low seed so I don't know if that'd work out. Ideally, we get the #1 seed and Cuse/Nova is the 8/9 game, and we get the winner of that in round one.

I'd want UConn in the final. Exorcise the demons from the last time we matched up with them in the final.

My dream scenario is for Syracuse to lose every game it has left going into the BET, yet somehow making the finals. Then we absolutely destroy them, thus denying them the automatic bid. Then they are snubbed on selection Sunday. Is that asking too much?

Yeah, I think this is going to be a great BET. It is crazy to think that 2 likely top 25 teams - Marquette and Pitt - may not even get a bye for the first day.

I want UCONN in the final too. Payback time. Plus I hate Calhoun more than any coach in the league...and that is REALLY saying something.
I'd like to beat Marquette along the way too...that rat is really annoying.

Now that UCONN is good again, they will prob have the most fans at the garden, as in past years when they have been very good...and i do not want to hear that stupid U-C-O-N-N chant ever again, so I hope they lose their first game. I also would not want to play ND, I know we've had the upper hand in games against them lately, but they are a hot/cold shooting team...and when they're hot they rarely miss. The way our offense has been playing I don't think we could keep up with a hot ND team.

I'd want UConn in the final. Exorcise the demons from the last time we matched up with them in the final. I'd like to exorcize the demons too...but I'd hate to watch replays of the 1996 final over and over again during the game, and have the announcers talk about it non-stop. But, then a win and we can stop hearing about it. One step at a time though...

Get your popcorn and by "popcorn" I mean beer. You can go with that, but the best conference tournament lineup by far looks like this: Duke - Georgia Tech North Carolina - Miami Clemson - Virginia Tech Maryland - Wake Forest Really, how can UConn-Pitt compare with the Tigers against the Deacs? I've got a fever, and the only prescription is the ACC tournament! (since sarcasm doesn't come across well on this board ... uh ... I'm being very very VERY sarcastic).

My fever is so bad, I can't see anything but the BET. The Hoyas can beat SUcks and UCon in any round. It never gets old. For a third W, I don't care, but Villnova is always nice (think 1985) and would clear up the "foul" game. Just have the Hoyas win the whole thing.
