Shaky start--but starting to run good zone offense. Loved the pass back from Austin to Dajuan for a good shot.

Way too many turnovers so far, and now Macklin just dribbled it off his toe.

Just sloppy ball handling/passing--and for whatever reason it's just a not a good passing team this year--the ideas are fine--but the delivery is a different story. Throwing balls at guys ankles or almost out of bounds.
They at least have right idea though--the offensive movement/focal point is good.
Question the substitution pattern again--and it's got Hoyas from 4 up to 7 down--but at least Roy/Austin came back into the game.

we have more turnovers then fieldgoals so far. summers needs to continue looking for his shot - we've got to pound the ball into hibbert.

I like the idea of the offense, they're penetrating into the zone and then trying to pass it off that penetration, but unfortunately every pass seems to become a turnover.

Definitely not looking good. Where's our offense? And Macklin....dribbling off his toe says it all. We need to attack on offense and draw fouls. Can't afford another Louisville.

This team has major flaws--and the record has masqueraded it--but it's playing some awful basketball--and has for a while now.
I'm not even considering the game winnable right now. I just want to see some FGA's get off without throwing it out of bounds or off someone's shoe.

"just a miserable possession." We look awful, I have better hands than Macklin, and have we ever ever practiced to play against a zone? this is pathetic. We need Big John to make his way down to our locker room at halftime...for a motivational/ "get your heads out of your as***" speech.

We are playing like crap. If we keep doing this then we are headed for a 9-5 seed in the Tournament and an early exit.

We do look awful. Too many bad passes. One of the best (if not the best) defense being defeated and no offense to respond. Roy needs to take over the offense, he's too timid. The guards need to at least try to penetrate instead of just giving up every possession with turnovers. If you keep passing the ball, turnovers will happen no matter how good you are. This is ridiculous.

To avoid saying things about young men on a message board. I'll say good afternoon to everyone and return later on tonight.
Truly DISGUSTING. Some kids need to look in the mirror on this team. Not playing well is one thing--not trying is another and some kids on this team (without being mentioned) should be ASHAMED of the lack of effort.
This team is D-O-N-E--and I'm not talking about today-it's over for this team.

Thompson should have waited longer to call a timeout

I thought the game was going to be close, but clearly we haven't been able to handle the 2-3 zone for as long as I've watched Hoya hoops, particularly at the Dome. It can't get worse than this, but unfortunately this team is obviously not a Final Four contender. Still, a Sweet 16 is eminently reasonable and then let's hope the team coalesces for another run in two years when the newbies have a chance to gel.

I agree RDF! I'll take 35 footers for the rest of the half rather than risk another turnover.. The team has been off since Monday what have they been doing?
