IIRC speculation is dicouraged here, but what has been said publicly about it? I confess to near-total ignorance.

I believe the last was a Camille article with a quote from JTIII to the extent that he's going into the remainder of the year expecting that Chris would not play. Look for the articles after the WVU game, I know it came out in the same article as the one saying that Dajuan's ankle wasn't as bad as initially thought.

My guess is he's coming back around early March. If he can play, and he cannot redshirt, maybe...

I'm hoping he pulls a Willis Reed.

Do we know that it was a foot fracture? I can't remember even seeing the injury described.
He seems to be walking fine, not that it's a true measure. I have a hard time believing he's coming back this year at any real level of effectiveness.

Its not a shame, and you besta believe he would of made a world of difference believe that, but just think the best is yet to come...he did not come back to soon, you didn't see him laying on the court in severe pain and being carried off of the court or nothing like that, its an injury to say, hey something isn't right with my ankle, I better take some preventive caution and let it heal properly, and be patient with this...He and his family made the best decision for Chris, believe me, they care more about Chris' health than basketball, and thats a no brainer, they know Chris has a gift from God, and I'm pretty they pray and talk to the Lord and make these great decisions as they've always made for the children.
