As much as I'd like to see another BE team get into the top 25, I'm hoping for some separation with a Luhvul loss tonight. Go DePaul!!!
We need wins by Pitt and MU for RPI, seeding, etc... purposes. The more Top 25 BE teams, the merrier...

Yeah, much like major league baseball, the second half of the season is when you start to see more separation. PC and Seton Hall just look competely out of gas, much like Cincinnati. Luckily, we could be seeing PC and Cincinnati at a time when they have really hit their wall. A lot of nervous mid-majors (and Syracuse for good measure will be watching this Kentucky game tonight. If they beat Vandy, there is going to be a lot of buzz for them to steal a bid.

Vandy's up 41-10 with 1.5 minutes to go until halftime. Doesn't look like those mid majors will have to worry about Kentucky.
Marquette and Pitt both won easily, DePaul is hanging tough after a bad start, down 8 at the half.

UVA almost pulled it out, were down 1 with 5 seconds to go but couldn't get a shot off after getting the rebound.

I dont get it. One team shot 47%, the other shot 37%. Is that really that bad for a college basketball game? L'ville is starting to look a lot like Georgetown '07. High preseason ranking, struggling OOC, rolling in February. Let's hope we can stop their momentum in March.

"Last year against Georgetown, Vanderbilt was a missed travel call away from the elite eight." - Broadcast team from Vandy-KY game.
Squeaky wheels get the grease. I guess if you whine and whine and whine and whine about it, it just becomes fact. There is hope for you Nova fans.

I dont get it. One team shot 47%, the other shot 37%. Is that really that bad for a college basketball game? . Yes but one team, a certain Michigan State, only scored 18 POINTS IN A HALF! We would crucify ourselves if that ever happened with us and guess what, its not the first time its happened to Sparty L'ville is starting to look a lot like Georgetown '07. High preseason ranking, struggling OOC, rolling in February. Let's hope we can stop their momentum in March

Yeah, I wasnt trying to be a smart a, I just didnt know what you were pointing to exactly. I have never been high on MSU, and said as such. When you look at the Big 10 standings and see Purdue at the top, you know something is amiss.

That's why I cringed when someone posted that our loss at Louisville was their equivalent of our win at home against Marquette last year. I just thought: look where we ended up, and look at where Marquette ended up.
