...to sit Roy to keep him "fresh". Roy comes out at the stoppage before the under 12 and comes in out of the timeout for the under 8. That's both halves. The rest of the time he's in, no questions asked. 32 minutes. That's not much to ask from the AA.
There's also no reason to continue standing on ceremony and starting Freeman. Freeman can come in at the 2-3, Rivers at the 1-2, and Macklin at the 4-5. Summers, Ewing, and Hibbert are our best front line (I swear Ewing is the only guy who FAKES a pass against the press and gets the D to move). It's big and versatile and makes plays. Start it and stick with it.
I was as upset at this game as Oregon last year. It is exactly the game that should wake this team up to running the offense through the big guy. The big difference is that last year we were 4-3 and this year, we're 20-3. They have plenty of time to go from better than most to better than all and it has to start with going to Roy.

agreed. there is no reason his minutes should have dropped so much since the end of last year (i dont have the number in front of me but i believe the last games of the season, and i know in the tourney, he was playing at lest 32 minutes)
