Now THAT is an article. Oh man... I kept expecting him to transition into some straight-faced analysis, but he ripped on both of them (ESPN and ACC) right to the end.
My favorite part... Speaking of the Hurricanes good record, "but experts know this kind of shocking improvement is simply what can happen when you associate yourself with true greatness."
Awesome!!!

Barker at his best. So very, very true. I can't wait until the ACC sends its yearly pack of teams to the tourney, only to see one or two survive past the first round to the Sweet Sixteen... as they do every year.
GO HOYAS!!!

Maybe Barker has earned a spot on track #4 of your CD.

Great article. I liked 1-5 record against the Big East. Awesome!

I read the article on the metro this morning and just couldn't stop snickering. Absolutely brilliant although it stoled some thunder from something I was putting together for HoyaReport. Barker is the greatest. This is part of the weekly national breakdown of colleeg basketball that the WTimes does each Friday. Barker wrote the pieces for the college football weekly updates too. The guy is just multi-talented.

I don't know about that. Given our prior "debates", I think you may have him beat by a long shot.

How satisfying... how come winning 3 of the last 6 NCAA tournaments, if I'm not mistaken, doesn't get the Big East some major respect? What really gets to me is how this affects TV time. I want more Hoya games nationally televised!
Go Hoyas

"I want more Hoya games nationally televised!"
More would suggest that we got at least some nationally televised games. If I'm not mistaken GU didn't get a single national game on EPSN, ESPN 2, or ABC. We get no respect.
Go Hoyas!

This article is worth reading for the following two words alone:

I LOVE IT. The only problem I have with the article is he missed the fact that, byapplying the transitive property to College BBall, not only did Illinois destroy Wake, it also is clearly better than the Heels as Wake beat them pretty handily.

True enough, HoyasSkins, I don't think any have been nationally televised. But at least some have been available on satellite. The Syracuse game not even being available on Full Court was sad.
Speaking of which... did anyone hear back from ESPN after we sent a bunch of emails asking them to carry the Georgetown-SU game?

There was an autoresponse that basically said they'd forward the e-mail to someone for their consideration. Other than that, I have not received a personalized response.
