*** UPDATED to include OT victory over 'Cuse 1/21/08 *** I was bored at work so I threw this table together of JT3's record versus our Big East foes in the 3+ seasons since he's been our coach. Interestingly 'Cuse is still our biggest nemesis: Team | Record | Winn % | Rutgers | 6-0 | 1.000 | Cincinnati | 3-0 | 1.000 | DePaul | 3-0 | 1.000 | Seton Hall | 3-0 | 1.000 | Louisville | 1-0 | 1.000 | Notre Dame | 6-1 | .857 | St. John's | 4-1 | .800 | Pittsburgh | 4-2 | .667 | Marquette | 2-1 | .667 | Villanova | 3-3 | .500 | West Virginia | 2-2 | .500 | Providence | 1-1 | .500 | South Florida | 1-1 | .500 | Boston College* | 1-1 | .500 | Syracuse | 2-3 | .400 | Connecticut | 2-4 | .333 |
* Win against Boston College came after they left the Big East, but since they spend the whole week trashing the Big East, I felt it only necessary to put the game in the standings. I didn't realize we have only played L'ville once. If I have more free time later this week, maybe I can break this down further by home, away, and neutral. Anyway its time for us to close the gap on Cuse, tonights the night!

Thank your boss for giving you the time and his money to create this table for the Board! Pretty interesting. Please keep it updated for us. I'm sure your boss will not mind.

I'm liking the record against Pittsburgh. That says a lot considering how they've been in the BE this decade

So the only two teams to whom we have a losing record since JT III are Cuse and Ucon? Well, it's time to tie it up against Cuse when we kill them at the Dome in Feb. Ucon will have to wait until next year.
