first a disclaimer: your response will have a DIRECT effect on a 7 and 3 year old. so if you have to think about your response for a day or so, feel free to do it.
OK, here we go. the Thursday and Saturday east (Charlotte) and west (Arizona) regionals will be held on march 27 and 29
the Friday and Sunday Midwest (Michigan) and south (Texas) regionals will be held on the 28th and the 30th.
here is the dilemma! the circus will be at the verizon center on march 27-30.
he is where i want your input:
1. which region bracket do you thing we will be?
2. do you think we will advance to that regional final?
my plan is to return to home to take the kids to the circus and then return for the regional final if we win the sweet 16 game. however, if i choose the wrong day to take them to the circus, things get tough as they want the VIP tickets that allow them to "be part of the circus" sure, mom can take them by herself, but i take these type of "events" very serious and want to be part of each one

1. who knows? too many last minute things factor into this. 2. a guy who already bought flights to San Antonio for the Final Four is asking this? The circus will always be back next year. Buy the circus tickets for both possibilities and then unload the ones you do not use on stubhub / ebay / craigslist. Last minute VIP tickets to the circus might bring in enough $$ to fund your Hoya obsession-related air travel.

"The circus will always be back next year." tell that to a 3 and 7 year old! the hoyas will be back (maybe better) next year as well! that being said, good idea. i will get circus tickets for the 29th and 30th no matter what they say about you Dan, you are a good man in my book!! lock this one up. problem solved lol

Kids can learn infinitely more at regionals than they can learn at any circus, especially when it comes to the dominance of Hoyas over Eagles, Lions, Tigers, Bears (and Bruins), Huskies, Cardinals, Badgers, Wolverines, Blue Hens, Gators, Jayhawks, Wildcats, and all other animals in creation (in addition to Devils, Demons, and obese anthropomorphic cartoon characters), how to ogle Song Girls, and how to come up with signs that security won't confiscate.
It's a crapshoot. GU almost certainly won't be in the West region (assuming we make the tournament, henceforth AWMTT), but the chances of the East seem higher than the Midwest or South. McQ's strategy is best.

(assuming we make the tournament, henceforth AWMTT) Please do not let that BS from Simmons be the start of a trend.
