I was at the Wizards-Sonics game on Sunday. In addition to the main reason we were all at that woeful game, I was excited to see Jon, Tyler, Pat, and Roy a couple sections away from me.
At some point in the 3rd quarter, Roy got up and walked over to greet some friends. As he was walking behind the baseline, my friends and I noticed a small but definite limp, and he was walking tenderly the whole time. I don't know if this is something that has affected/is affecting his play, or when this might have been caused, but I saw it as both a possible explanation for his recent string of tentative performances and a possible reason to worry as the BE schedule heats up. Anyone else have any info on this, or did anyone else see this on Sunday?

My mom (a doctor) noticed this a couple games back( might've been memphis), but i thought she was crazy, maybe there's something too this.

I thought he was a bit gimpy midway through the Rutgers game and was surprised that it wasn't mentioned. After it wasn't mentioned, I just chalked it up to his awkward gait. hm

As always, please limit on-board speculation on current players' potential injuries. Please remember this is not a rumor board when it comes to topics like this.

This is interesting. I would say that maybe someone who knows him on campus can get the scoop, but I think it may hurt the team to spread the word if there is an injury. We don't want to be the ones to share info that leads to teams pounding him, especially this early in the BE schedule. But it's worth keeping an eye on tonight.
I also noticed that he came out pretty early against Rutgers. He had (I think) 1 foul. It was like 4:30 into the game, and Vernon was bringing his terribly ineffective self onto the floor.
I guess it would be GOOD for Roy for there to be at least some kind of explanation and not just a natural regression in skills and mental approach.
