At the risk of asking a really dumb question, why didn't Wright get any PT against Rutgers?

he rolled his ankle in practice the day before and was kept out for precautionary reasons. He was not limping or wearing a boot (according to reports).

Wait, before making a smartass comment, you didn't just get back from serving a tour in Iraq, did you?

Man, I thought this was gonna have an update on his ankle. Like if he was gonna be ready to play tomorrow or not.

We really could have used Wright against Rutgers. At least he can break down a defense with his speed!

I don't get it. We won. He rested his ankle. Seems like it worked out OK.

He wasn't wearing a boot and didn't appear to be limping at all.

Wright's minutes went to Rivers who was 0 for 0 from the field and 0 for 0 from the line. That's why we could have used Wright.

Boz, people usually say something along the lines of: I need a new keyboard.
Anyone know if Chris will be playing tomorrow?

I like Wright, but he certainly does not make our offense more "fluid."

I like Wright, but he certainly does not make our offense more "fluid." when compared to rivers it does. most nights, rivers is a non-threat on offense and when he's in, our offense often stalls.... see memphis/gtown.

Actually, I think Wright is a contributor to the free throw problem. Didn't he have a game a couple weeks ago where he was 3/7 from the line?

Eh, he's 11-17 on the season for ~65%, so if he did have 3-7 game, then he's actually 8-10 on the season outside of that one bad game.
The most striking thing about our free throw shooting (other than the ugly percentage) is that we have taken so few. After Roy and Dajuan, the next highest number of attempts is a tie between Macklin and Ewing, with 23 each... less than 2 per gam.

I like Wright, but he certainly does not make our offense more "fluid." Chris is an All-American just as Eric Gordon, Freeman, and Rose and more...Chris is also a three All-Met, and is in Legendary status in the DC area, so you haven't seen anything yet...remember we play a whole different ballgame here on the Hilltop. You will see the rest of this year, mark my word as long as Lumpy stays healthy he will be fine. WE ARE GEORGETOWN!
