I don't get ESPNU on cable at home, so was thinking I'd try to get to a NYC bar for the game after work, but unfortunately it doesn't appear that there is a planned game watch anywhere. I know I've heard some others allude to The Village Pourhouse as being Hoya friendly - can anyone confirm if they get ESPNU and if there is a gamewatch there (or anywhere else for that matter)? To the extent other locale's would also want to use this thread to post gamewatch locations, please feel free to do so, as I only see a LA gamewatch listed on the Hoop Club gamewatch page: guhoyas.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/hoya-hoop-club-activities.html#13Thanks!

I believe the Pourhouse picks up ESPNU and that they will be showing the game. I'm planning to head down there to check it out.

Is there a DC gamewatch? No ESPNU on my cable system.

Does Tombs have ESPN U? I called and they sounded unsure. Best way to check with bars is to call and ask what service they have (Directv, what cable co., etc). Then ask them to briefly tune to the channel (I think the U is DTV 609, for example) and see if it comes in.

The unveiling of the GPHoya ESPNU outlet was more than satisfactory.

Just wanted to post a quick "Thank you" to Joe and the good folks at The Village Pourhouse for hosting a great Hoya gamewatch for last night's game vs. Depaul. It was my first time there, but the bar itself is a nice spot. For those NYC area Hoya fans who ever want to go out to watch a game, this is a great spot to do it. The Pourhouse had around 8-10 flat screens in the bar cued up to the Hoya game (with sound!), making for a great atmosphere for both casual and die hard fans alike. There was a pretty good turnout of Hoya fans, so for those who are looking for a good spot to checkout the game, definitely consider the Pourhouse.
