Come on.....we can't beat Marist but we line up a Div 1 -FBC final four team. What genius came up with that idea?

Hey you never know.... [/end wishful thinking]
Still, if we are going to lose, I would rather it be to the Spiders (who thought of that? kinda creepy) than the Marist whatever-they-are-called.

It's the Red Foxes, no matter what anyone says it's I-AA, and we better be getting a lot of money.

Richmond is not paying a guarantee for a day trip. The Spiders play at City (UR) Stadium, an old stadium just off I-195. UR averages 6,288 a game and drew just over 7,000 for its homecoming game in 2006 vs. Villanova. Results wise, they advanced to the I-AA quarterfinals and scored 35 on App State in a 55-35 shootout. Richmond is looking to move to a, well, a multi-sport facility on its campus within three years and have raised $25 million for it in the last three years. An $8M gift came in yesterday. oncampus.richmond.edu/news/press/jan08/Robins.html

I like it -- this should amp up the intensity at spring ball workouts.

I don't care how big the payday is, just that there is some payment. It's the principle of the thing - we've got to be getting something out of it besides a beating; I don't care if it's $1.

By the way , champ is 100 pc right, but, at this point , we should concentrate on the humor in this current program ...1-10 , no senior play , lose to Marist , wake at 5 to practice at 6 , poor coaching (but at least we keep up with the times and have a coach from India , globalization is key) , MSF and the scoreboard , GU 's impeccable use of the media , the sharp radio skills and broadcasts of the games , till now , I had thought that radio was mastered generations ago , oh thats right , the opponents can broadcast effectively ...and now as players are quitting this mess , we play RICHMOND as their homecoming (read:easy win ,light week , get healthy ,great party)....Do you think Richmond will motivate their 2008 season with the photos from the annual GU football bicep and ab display from the Exorcist steps or do you think they are more concerned with playing football versus UVA next season ? Nobody should be against aiming high but at least get SOME of your act together along the way !!!!
