So the FBI announced recently that they are reopening one of the 20th centuries most infamous unsolved crimes, that of DB Cooper jumping from a plane with $200,000 in 1971. news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/article3303655.eceAm I missing something here? I thought it was general knowledge that D.B. Cooper was actually Charles Westmoreland, inmate at Fox River Penitentiary in Jolet, IL. I mean, the last few paragraphs of this link prove pretty much beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was: www.fox.com/prisonbreak/recaps/recap_111.htmMaybe this is a case so obvious the FBI just can't believe it, but I think that their obstinance is really hurting the taxpayers on this one. I mean, the guy died in an escape attempt with 9 fellow inmates in the spring of 2006, so trying to solve this case anew will obviously lead the g-men nowhere. Silly government.
