really surprised about texas losing. Can't say I'm unhappy though. Their early seasons wins created the possibility of two teams from the Big 12 getting #1 seeds, so the more they lose, the better, because it'll be hard enough as it is for us to get one, without two teams in another conference competing for them.

very true. At this point i think the #1 seeds are UNC, Memphis, and Kansas with the last TBD. obviously this can change. but at this point those 3 are #1 seeds and i don't know who the 4th would be.

Not really a game of interest, but I would hate to be a Kentucky fan these days. Losing AT HOME to a team finished to place 3rd in the WCC is awful.
I wouldn't be surprised to see UofA take down Memphis tonight.

tennesse beats gonzaga 82-72. tennesse break away dunk at the buzzer kind of unnecessary and unsportsmanly.
Miami suffers their first loss of the season to a 7-5 wintrop team.
vandy, marquette, clemson, mich st, texas am all won
rutgers beats manhattan st. john's lost to VT, lousiville beat Iona, depaul beat detroit

The unnecessary dunk at the end by Tennessee moved the game from under to a push against the over/under of 154. Too funny.

Everyone should really check out the WVU-Oklahoma game...it's basically a demolition derby crossed with a roller derby match crossed with a cockfight crossed with an episode of Jerry Springer.
Plus OU is wearing gray...so there's that.
All seriousness a pretty darn good, intense game.
(EDIT: Told ya...Ruoff got a putback with 0.1 remaining to send it to OT, after OU had gone ahead on 2FTs following a blocking foul that was correct but didn't sit well with the Charleston Civic Center faithful. Huggins had to get on the mic to tell the crowd not to throw stuff on the court, and one fan was ejected for said action. Also, ESPN has shown about 43,443,580 Beilein-related signs.)
(EDIT 2: It's now the game that won't die...OU looked dead in the water at the start of OT but they came back and nailed a 3 w/ 6.6 to go to tie it, and stripped WVU driving for the winner...so double OT as the Giants kick off on my picture in picture)

WVU-OU game was a mess the first half, turnovers all over the place, and then ended up a really entertaining game. Kinda cool when Huggy Cat got on the PA and had the fan who threw a soda bottle on the court thrown out...But then they lost so all is well!

16 minutes left in the second and blair has 4 fouls, not looking good for pitt.
edit and now fields is injured. jsut got taken to the locker room, no word on how bad. looks like an ankle injury.

Ummmm...at this rate I think I'd be afraid Dayton's fans were going to rush the court then invade Western PA. Jeebus this got out of hand quickly...although it doesn't hurt the Big East nearly as much as those BE bottom feeders getting beat by St. Whatsoever.

Just saw the highlights of the WV-OU game. OU's gray jerseys made me throw up in my mouth a little bit...just wrong. Would have been a good game to be at though.

Bad day for the Big East, although I can't say I shed any tears for either of these teams losing. Oh well, we'll just have to beat them by even more now.

Miami is a joke. They were "Clemson-undefeated."

Dayton is good. With wins over Lousville and Pitt they may have themselves an at large bit with a respectable A 10 showing.
