Thanks to the hard work of HoyaJake (didn't he used to be GUJake?), I've now posted +/- stats each Hoya for the season to date (excluding the ODU game). I've also posted stats for each Georgetown game played this year, except odu. The play-by-play data for the ODU game is garbled beyond any use. Unless someone recorded the game and wants to work it out by hand (ahem, MCIGuy), I think that's one's lost forever. Link

I think Roy is +15, not +17, for the William and Mary game.
Looking at the ODU box score on guhoyas, everything looks fine. Is there something I'm missing.
Other than that, good work Jake. Very interesting numbers.

Yep, you are right hoyals. I have only been able to double-check about half of the numbers so far, but I'll be able to get through all of them by the end of the weekend. I doubt I made any large errors in the first run-through since I checked everything that looked suspect, but it is definitely possible.
The substitutions for the ODU game make no sense: I didn't realize Nikita made his debut 10 minutes into the first half.

What these seem to say:
1. More Austin, less Pat. 2. More Jon, a whole lot less Chris (and Jeremiah in certain situations...like when he's shooting fade aways on the baseline after the shotclock resets).
Also, as I mentioned before on another thread that somehow deteriorated into a debate over Florida, I'd be interested in seeing just a few minutes of Roy and Vernon on the floor at the same time. Imagine the cheap putbacks that Vernon could pick up on those dinky little layups that Roy misses a few of each game. It may totally bomb, but it may also be nice to see them share a little time, at least as some sort of experiment.

Remember that these need to be thought of in context - we are often running two lineups, with the only guys switching back and forth being Freeman and Ewing. That means that the backups +/- is going to be hurt because they only really play with other backups. Still, great work guys. Really interesting stuff.
