I was able to deal with the idea better when there simply was "no TV" for this item. But now that there is a crew going there to broadcast the game in Syracuse, it really bothers me that no one else is picking this up. How can a station in DC not pick this up? ? DFW, do you have any light you can shed on this? You are generally very knowledgeable in the ways of local network feeds.

While I don't live in DC, here in NYC many of us are subject to the virtual cable monopoly that Time Warner has on the city. Yet, while they provide us with something like 200-300 channels with a basic digital cable package, they couldn't somehow pick up this random local cable station that they own to allow NYers to watch this game. Granted, that's a lot more understandable than not having coverage in the DC market, but frustating nonetheless. In any case, while its of any limited consolation to NYC-metro area Hoya fans looking to see tomorrow night's game, the GU-Notre Dame game this Sunday (12pm) will be on the MSG Network.
