just a few observations on local squads, BE teams, and a couple of future GU opponents. Feel free to add thoughts over the weekend.
UConn 53, Quinnipiac 46 Quinn. went on a 17-4 run in the second half. Thabeet had 11 boards and 7 blocks. These guys are young...i wish we played them earlier in the season
George Mason 79, Cleveland St. 74 Mason came from behind to defeat Gary Waters' Cleveland St. team. Waters stated "we gave this game away"
Wake 91, JMU 82 JMU led by 4 at the half and Wake came back from being 13 down.
Michigan 78, Davidson 68 - John Thompson Challenge Davidson cut the lead to 58-53, but Michigan pulled away again
Ball St. 81, Northern Colorado 42 Ball State had 5 players score in double figures
Other action: Oregon is up by about 20 against Cal St. Northridge w/ 7 mins left Cincy seems to be cruising against Tennessee-Martin Seton Hall spanked Caldwell 'Nova is up big against Northwood (FL) at the half Syracuse is up by double digits over Penn
Navy vs. St. John's - tonight DePaul vs. Bradley - tonight
Sunday's games: Syracuse vs. UTEP - this might be interesting Pitt vs. W Michigan Cincinnati vs. High Point
sidenote: Vandy played an exhibition game against Northern State (South Dakota)...final score Vandy 98, NS 94
