And this is HoyaTalk... how? Cue the_way... I know people focus on duke too much, but we do play them at Cameron next month so its kind of relevant.

yeah i saw this earlier and i think it's really dumb they have to do that but i agree with coach K's sentiment: "It's like, 'Did we do something wrong? And if that is the case, then how might we be able to solve it without hurting the students?' They're on the team, too. They should be as close to the court as possible."
I don't think it's really going to change anythign just really stupid to start enforcing a rule now. but i agree students should be as close to the court as possible. Not just because i am a student when i leave the student section for the YA sections i still want the students to get the best seats. It creates a better atmosphere.

I know people focus on duke too much, but we do play them at Cameron next month so its kind of relevant. Oh, spare me. That front row - the ONLY row - that has to move is what... a few dozen students? Moving 30 or 40 kids to the top of the bleachers isn't going to change the make up of Cameron one damn bit (although I do agree with their coach... why now?). The seating situation at Cameron is, for all intents and purposes, unchanged. The other zillion students who get seats a zillion times better than any Hoya student will ever get are still in the exact same place and are going to be just as loud and "creative." This doesn't make it one iota easier to play at NJU-Durham. The topic is wholly irrelevant.
