Gibbs and Parcells are in way over their heads and just stealing from their franchises. Today's game was the worst football game I've seen in terms of lack of playmaking, poor coaching, poor discipline, and just flat out terrible football from Gibbs and Parcells coached teams. Exciting? Sure. But TERRIBLE FOOTBALL and just a mockery of what these men once were as coaches. They always look relieved to be breathing after a game--rather then winning when they do--which is very slim. Skins won the battle today and both lost the war--these teams are beyond AWFUL--they are SUCK ROTTEN AWFUL and not sure if you could field a team worth crap with a combo of both rosters.

NYR320 was yelling at the TV about "playing not to win" while I was enjoying a good chuckle during the last 5 minutes of the game. I guess it could be worse - either of those teams could be coached by Art Shell who, like the entire Raiders franchise, seems to have been passed by by the rest of the league.

Your just realizing now that Gibbs is "over the hill". Where have you been the last 2 seasons?

The answer is yes--the Vikings-Niners game was more pathetic.
Brad Johnson is a joke. He should retire.

I was watching the Bear-Dolphin game, and when I finally gave up on the Bears, I switched to Skins - Cowboys, and saw the last half minute. So while I can't comment on the overall quality of play, I will say that I absolutely loved the turn of events at the end of the game. I was in DC during part of the Landry/Allen era of Cowboy-Redskin battles, and it always makes me very happy when the Skins beat the Boys.
I also loved how Joe Gibbs couldn't bear to watch the last field goal attempt. High comedy.

I actually watched a lot of that sad excuse for a football because of my fantasy team (thank god it was my opponent who had Johnson and C. Taylor), but that was an extremely difficult game to watch. No clue why I didn't get Skins-Boys on Fox at 1 (I got no game at all), considering Giants-Texans was on CBS yesterday. But that ending was pretty ridiculous.

The teams may not have played well but that's the most unusual ending I think I've ever seen in a football game. In the last 40 seconds or so, two missed field goals and one made. Worth watching just for that. Plus, anytime the Skins beat the Cowboys is fantastic.

When your home team is on, there is no other game. Unless, of course, you're in a two-team market, but the Jets weren't playing, so unless you're in South Jersey, that would explain it.

He owes me some kind of explanation for something or other that I can't explain...but it has to do with Brad Johnson being awful. Is this the next battle in the great Minnesota-Atlanta war that flares up every 8 years (1991, 1999, somehow Brad's going to blow a game against St. Louis on the final day of the season that costs Atlanta a playoff spot or forces them to have to play in Chicago at some point in Jan 2007).
