Hi all. I'm a Hoya that's new to this forum. I was just looking into Hoya recruiting and noticed a Syracuse high school kid named Andray Blatche lists both Syracuse and the Hoyas as teams he is interested in committing to for the upcoming season. He's rated by RivalsHoop as the 7th best player in the country and will surely be in the stands for our next game. It'd be nice if we gave him a good reason to committ to GU, though he does list Syracuse as his hightest choice. Does anyone know anything about him? Why hasn't he already committed to his hometown U?

Yeah, I seriously doubt Blatche will ever play a second of college hoops. Ive heard reports that he has announced he will go pro and even if he didnt his grades were so terrible at last check that just getting eligible would be a monumental task, unless of course he went to syracuse or cincinnati.

according to him, colleges stopped talking to him Im not surprised, that was probably shortly after colleges realized that he stopped being a student, or maybe he never started
