What a great finish.
That said, I don't care how your team wins the game, you can't rush the court when you are the #6 team beating an unranked at home.

That Charlotte player Goldwire was such an idiot. He'll never live that one down... ever.
WG struggles at home against a sub-100 RPI team, and gets an absolute gift and lucky non-bounce (airballed 3) to win... this will have the Colonial faithful bombarding every chat room and columnist in America for at least another few days.

i dont think so rockaway - i think everyone, including their own fans, is painfully aware of how how overrated this team is...if i am a 12, 13, 14 seed going into the NCAAs, I am begging, praying, hoping to face an over-seeded GW team first-round...i want them to win the A-10 tournament just so their flameout is brighter

You heard it here first - George Mason will defeat GW in the first round.

They're not lucky...Leemire Goldwire is an idiot for losing his composure when his team had the game in hand. Not denying that the Colonials tried to give the game away several times (going 5 mins w/o a FG in the late second half, poor FT and 3-point shooting). Or that Charlotte seemed desperate to NOT capitalize on all of that--too many silly forced early shots and bad transition play into GW's hands. Even if they'd won (and they should have TWICE), I'd have still said that any potential Colonial opponent should BURN this game tape, cause that's a textbook case of how NOT to do it. But jeebus...you CANNOT lose your composure like that. Charlotte has a bubble team kind of resume right now, and a road win at the #6 team in the country would have been ENORMOUS. It's like Memphis in the CUSA tourney last year...but that guy you can forgive and see him grow from the experience, b/c he went into a big pressure situation and just missed some FTs. Goldwire may have popped his own team's bubble when he popped off and threw the elbows. By the way, Leemire Goldwire went to my sister's HS (yeah Dwyer!) and graduated a year behind her. She was in the hotel room watching with me and her reaction was hysterical when she heard Leemire's name. (EDIT: That's also at least the third time this season GW has won a game in OT after being down late in regulation and extending the game in that manner...Marshall and one of their early A-10 games as well.)

Do we really need ANOTHER WG thread? C'mon folks... no need to feed those WG trolls and their "for fans who don't care about us, they sure talk about us a lot" complex.

The Colonials have struggled with their victories for the last few weeks, even before Pops went down. They are still winning which is most important. But they are doing so against a slew of teams that are not even close to making the NCAA tournament.
Oh, and that idiot from Charlotte should be forced to walk home.

You can't read any columnists' chat these days without some idiot WG fan screaming why they aren't being mentioned for a 2 seed. It will only continue until some crap team they play (whether it be A-10 tourney or 1st round NCAA) puts them back in their place. And MCI, I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if some of Goldwire's teammates try to throw him in front of the bus as it pulls out of the parking lot.

Why? What did I say that was so crazy that I need my "priviledges revoked"? Are there 2 threads? Yes there are. Do I find that funny? Yes. Can you watch it on ESPN all night? Yes. You should complain about the people starting the threads.

I watched a portion of the game on the phone with HoyaSinceBirth and we were absolutely astonished by their "offense". Even Pops and Esh would've cringed at it.
They are, however, ridiculously athletic. I will give them that, but it'd be a hoot to watch the Hoyas make them play a slow game.
