Just turned on the 'Nova-DePaul game. Anyone know why Wainright and Wright are both wearing sneakers? Why Wright is wearing what appears to be a sweatsuit? What was wright wearing? That's the worst coaching outfit...maybe out fit period... that i've ever seen. Must be planning on hopping the nursing home bus to atlantic city after the game. Did he pick that things up at the Dick's half-price sale? Ridiculous.

Martelli had to save a timeout. His team did not have a clue on their own at the end there.
Jason Williams, Harley enthusiast, was on the color.

Jack, I'm pretty sure it was a Yamaha or a Honda - either way, definitely not a Harley.
I can't remember where I heard it today, but one of the play-by-play guys had a quote from a coach that he wished he could wear a sweatsuit to every game, and the sneakers thing was a perfect excuse. Something tells me JTIII will still sport the suit tomorrow.

64-62 GW, final. That "clown" is Jason Williams. I believe he's also known as Jay, as he was called for a few months. Oh, and GBD = God Bless Duke. Right? Yes. We have a winner! And Jay Williams is horrible. How is it that he got such a gig? Are only former UNC and Duke players allowed as analysts for ESPN?

Both K and Gary had sneakers on in their game and the announcers mentioned something about it. IDK why Jay had the rest of the outfit on though, maybe he thought a tie looked silly with his sneakers.

On the plus side, at least the second half of GW-St. Joe's was remotely watchable. If they gave extra points for stylistic turnovers, this game could have been in the 90s by halftime. AWESOME missed alley-oop dunk by Pops...there's a Top 10 Play nominee for ya. ;D Although to be fair, I think in the St. John's game ESPN was using Jack eating that doggie treats box as a commercial wipe. End of the game pretty much showed the difference between a 20-1 team and a 10-11 team (yeah, okay look, schedule strength, I know, whatever, go with me here). GW went with the interior feed to Pops they were getting all second half and St. Joe's had no answer. St. Joe's...not so much. Off balance leaner from a guy who was 0-6 from the field, and then a jacked deep three to bring your grand total from there on the afternoon to 1-21. Not that I wouldn't have gone for the win too, but yeah, an extra TO would have helped. And I guess I hadn't been paying close attention, but since when did St. Joe's get...bad? Not an encouraging three year track: Undefeated regular season/Elite 8 NIT Finalist 10-11 and near the bottom of the A-10 That escalated quickly.

the Coaches versus Cancer foundation, for cancer awareness or something. Yeah, I'm gonna say that's a good guess there, RB. ;D

dude - we would DESTROY this GW team...terrible decision by St. Joes and now 10 seconds remaining with GW up 1 and going to the line. GW wins by 2. Any team in the nation could have destroyed GW the way the played today - thank god we usually don't play like that.

was anyone listening when Tim McCormick said that GW's Mike Hall reminded him of Billy Owens? BILLY OWENS? I almost choked on my drink. That was the worst statement ever. That whole crew should've been censored for that one. Also, did anyone hear Williams saying "I had the chance to play with (insert player name here)". He was insufferable.

I'd dare to say that top 10 might be in order with a victory, as WVU will also have dropped two this week.
Get 'er done.

dang, I wanted St. Joe's to pull out that win ... woulda shut up some of those WG people for a few days. not that i'm anti WG, I just can't stand bandwagon fans that swagger around with all that false bravado (exception for anyone rooting for Gtown, of course ).
