RDF, I have to hear you go off on this...or was it just me who did a spit take when KG's commercial starred him as a: 1) futuristic soldier, 2) superhero, 3) little kid, 4) gladiator and 5) basketball player.
Like to see that in the shorter version they cut out the little kid part...it was very creepy looking.
I thought we were past the era where it was acceptable to compare an athlete to a hero...let alone compare yourself to a hero. What a chump.

You're the chump, chump.
Kevin Garnett is the most complete, perfect, undefendable player in the history of the NBA. Not only that, he's a glorious man, a beautiful human being, and a hero to you and me... and your GW-attending jerk of a brother.
The men and women who risk their lives in our armed forces should be honored to have themselves compared to a guy who works 80-100 nights a year and makes more in that time than they will in an entire career of sacrifice to their country. For shame, 'Bridge... for shame.

For a second, I thought Buffalo was revealing himself as Verne Lundquist and paraphrasing the infamous Chris Duhon "What a player, What a Man" speech. As for the Garnett ad--it's a "different" one that is for sure, but I've got a different take on how I would've shot this ad As a "General" in battle--I'd have had him suit up as Custer As a Super Hero, he'd be the Invisible Man with background showing "4th Quarter" and court saying NBA PLAYOFFS. As a Comic--well you guessed it, throw a red wig on his head and he'd be "Carrott Garnett". And last part where Adidas runs the "Anything is Possible" line with him going in for dunk, I'd have him pass at last second to Anthony Carter with scoreboard showing Wolves down by 1 with 2 seconds to go. But that's just my take on this. Seriously, KG is a good guy and fantastic player as I've mentioned before-just dont' buy into this best player stuff due to what I've seen on court and during $$ time in Playoffs. That is when your status is made as a player and right now I'd compare KG more to A-Rotten and Peyton Manning which isn't all bad--good people but just seem to be forced on public with "he's so great....." yet they haven't EARNED the status they hold--yet.

KG will be the complete player now that he has Ricky Davis at his side.
