IT WAS INCREDIBLE....I listened to it on the radio and I felt like i was right there. Props to Owens who didn't fold under pressure.
Nice to ruin the little celebration they thought they'd have at VU.....hehehe

That was the most amazing thing, hoyaboy. I was listening to a tight game (and one where we were behind for most of the game), yet I had confidence and OPTIMISM!! Man, it has been a LONG time since I've felt this way!
Go Hoyas!!!

Yeah I got a call from a friend who was on the slopes today and couldn't listen to the game and where I would have said "Its a good thing you didn't listen - we're down by 9", but today I said "We're only down by 9 - it just seems like we haven't made a run yet." What a difference a year makes.
WE ARE 3-1 IN CONFERENCE!

We should be confident. To have a set piece like we did with 2.4 seconds left is incredible. (The break to Owens at the end was the result of a set play from the sounds of it.)

Yes...3-1
UCONN wasn't all that either. They beat us, but not because they were all that...they just won the game.
I wonder what difference it would have made if we would have had our tremendous student section there.

Things are looking better everyday now! Today Syracuse struggled against Providence and barely won 75-71 and Notre Dame beat the red storm by only one, 67-66. Who said GU would be in the Big East basement?? I didnt!

Jersey, that's what I was thinking, it was a set play or something JTIII had diagrammed in the last huddle. I just wish I could have seen it. It was confusing at the end in the chat room, as VU tied it somehow, and then DJ is shooting two at the other end. What an ending!!! Go Hoyas!!! Thanks for raining on Nova's parade!!!

I agree with what everyone's been saying. In years past, I would be thinking "How the heck are we going to blow this lead?" Instead, I was confident someone was going to make a big play and we WERE going to win. What a difference a year makes.
GO HOYAS!!! BEAT 'CUSE!!!

If I had to guess, Cook started out at half court, Owens booked it from the backcourt. Cook catches and hits Owens.
