Bonds May Miss Months, and it's Press's Fault

This is rich. ESPN is reporting that Barry Bonds' knee injuries may force him to miss months of the season, if not the entire year. And he blames the media!

Here are quotes taken from the article:

"I really don't have much to say anymore," Bonds said. "My son and I just going to enjoy life. My family's tired. You guys [the media] wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got there.

"You wanted me to jump off the bridge, I finally have jumped. You wanted the bring me down, you've finally brought me and my family down. Finally done it. From everybody, all of you. So now go pick a different person. I'm done. Do the best I can, that's about it."

I have to say one thing for Bonds - he is maintaining his record of being totally off base all of the time.

You nasty media! Shame on you for persecuting poor Barry Bonds!

What happened to the Barry Bonds who was lecturing the media on life a couple of weeks ago?? hoyarooter, you need to pull up some of his quotes from the press conference he held when he first arrived at spring training. He was in rare form that day. I recall him saying "YOU GUYS NEED TO MAKE SURE YOUR HOUSE IS CLEAN, BEFORE YOU LOOK INTO MINE/ YOU GUYS ARE LIKE A SANFORD AND SON RERUN, THIS STUFF IS OLD NEWS." He also called one of the reporters in the crowd a liar. I enjoy seeing an ARROGANT CLOWN like Barry Bonds being defeated like that. I guess having your MISTRESS write a book about you will do that.

I find it funny when someone acts like a JERK(Barry Bonds, Terrell Owens) and is then shocked at the negative attention they get. Terrell Owens is more DESPICABLE than Barry Bonds, but we're not discussing him, so I'll leave him alone. Back to Barry Bonds, hoyarooter, maybe the media did make him take the steroids, maybe the media did force him to commit adultery, maybe the media did force him to alienate his teammates. AHH! HHA!
