Tbird, I have a feeling he was still a walk-on diamond in the rough type -- just for Roy Williams!

It really is great to see the beginning of a new era of Georgetown Basketball, start out with two fine players.
Both of these fellas are just so damn exciting to watch live, and it also feels good not to worry when the ball is in the hands of your main guard (as it was with M. Jackson, H. Broadnax).

Also, I think I know why JT2 never let freshmen talk to the media. Jeff's favorite book is "Pride and Prejudice"? He's gonna get a little ribbing for that. Of course, not from me. Jeff's a big guy. Hahaha, yeah, that was great. It's awesome to see we've got some TRUE student athletes. He had trouble with the SAT's, but still loved that book? The guy is a worker for sure. I love it. (Side note: I can't stand that book. Bloody awful. I had a terrible time forcing myself to finish it. UGH. But hey, more power to him.) The best comparison I could make earlier in the year was Jeff Green was Chris Wilcox II, but I think we've got ourselves a better player and a smarter one. This guy is great. I just can't get enough of his effort and toughness.

WOW what a story i knew i loved these guys but the line about let rudy have the award this is about team and these two are great team guys ... green loves iversons game and intensity and well wallace also played quarterback in high school a great article vs the post which primarily talks about nova go hoyas beat those celebrating wildcats would three and one be great Tell me about it. That is why I didn't even bother posting a link to the WPost article because it was full of nothing. A sham of an article. I was so juiced late last night (or very early in the morning---take your pick) after reading the Barker Davis article that I just new the one in the Post would be a letdown. The only credit concerning Hoya coverage that I give the WPost this season was the article (a very small one at that) on RaMell Ross. Other than that they bite big time.
