The latest word is that Jeff didn't sit for the May SAT and that he's taking it in June instead. This is from a staff member on mdvarsity.com who talked to Jeff.

From mdvarsity:
When we last spoke to Jeff after the Capital Classic, he told us that he was making good progress academically and that he expected to be a full qualifier. He has been talking evening classes and took an SAT preperation class. Contrary to some reports, Jeff told us that he did not sit for the May 1 SAT exam.
"I'm taking the SAT on June 5,” said Jeff. "Everything is looking good."
Jeff told us that he will graduate from Northwestern on June 8.

Good info. Let's hope his spring grades are strong as well. Does anyone know how far "off" his previous scores were, or should we not discuss that here? Spitting distance? Not by a long shot? Anyone? Bueller??

Rumor has it that he was about 50 points shy. I can't verify that but its what I've heard.

That is not an insubstantial gap, but also isn't insurmountable. If his grades go up, his SAT requirement goes down, right?

any idea what his grades are? I'd really like to see Green in blue and Gray in the fall. I think he is a BEAST.

Could he be putting it off in anticipation of higher grades, and thus qualifying and not having to take it again?
GO HOYAS!!!

What you say makes a lot of sense, Buffalo. If it was me, I would have taken the test in May and June. But no one was offering my short fat ass schollies either, so I didn't have mean Jeff Green's problems!

He's taking it again, he has just decided to wait until June. Hopefully he's raising his grades and also preparing himself for the June test.

Mean Jeff Green reenacting the Coke commercial with a 40-something hoya alum/hoops fan playing the part of the little kid would be hilarious. Great jumbotron stuff. Now let's hope he qualifies so we can start shooting the spot!
