Some surprisingly good results from Danny Harris 800m, Melissa Grelli Mile, Dan Gerber 1000m, mens 4X400(non 400m runners). Most people had good early season outings with the possible exception of our highly recruited freshman women Tomlin and Gregory + John Maloy., who have yet to better their hs times.
It will be interesting to see who the hoyas run at the millrose 4 x 800 in a couple of weeks since some of the logical candidates bumbalogh and debole haven't really run yet + the other 6 or so candidates have pretty much run the same times at 800-1k.

Yes, I was surprised how well Danny Harris did. The 800m (men) 1. Danny Harris 1:53,81 2, Stanley Lagrenade 1:53.84 4. Kelvin Hill 1:55.4
And Dan Gerber in the 1000m (usually a distance guy in HS) 1000m (men) 1. Rasheed Thompson 2:27.83 2. Dan Gerber 2:27.9 6. John Maloy 2:30.15 (I would think Elizabeth's brother would have beaten Gerber)
4x400 (men): 3. GU (Hill, Leyh, Gerber, Thompson) 3:21.07 (all 800m runners and above)
400m (women) 3. Nicole Torpey 56.29 4. Nana Hanson-Hall 56.58
60m (men) 3. Kenny Mitchell 6.82 Finals 60m (women) 9. Sarah Wernik 8.08
800m (women) 1. Ashley Hubbard 2:12.06 (won by 4 sec) 4. Jayne Penn 2:18.08
3000m (women) 4. Lauren Gregory 10:21.35
DMR (women) 1. GU (Tomlin, Mondie, Sobrinski, Grelli) 11:51.71
4x400 (women) 3. GU A (Hanson-Hall, Baptiste, Abi Johnson, Hubbard) 3:43.89 4. GU B (Bomigboye, Torpey, Penn, Wernik) 3:48.71
SP (women) 6. Tanore Barrow 42'7"

Yes, reformation, I agree with your assessment on the Millrose 4x800 team. Debole and Bumbi have not run, so I doubt right now that they will be running. Maybe they are training in secret. But the others are pretty consistent at 1:53 or so.

Kenny Mitchell's 6.82 in the 60 m sets a school record, as does Tanore Barrow's 42'7" in the shot put.
