Matt DeBole, in his first meet of the year, finished first in a time of 25 minutes, 3.2 seconds on the 7,900-meter course at the James Madison University Men's Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning at the New Market Battlefield. He finished just ahead of fellow Hoya Andrew (Bumbi) Bumbalough, who placed second with a time of 25:03.5.
Georgetown and Duke finished with 33 points in the competition followed by JMU (69) and Longwood (114). Complete results later.

Complete results. We ran a totally different team from last week except for Scott Bastek.
1. Debole 2. Bumbi 5. Brian Dalpiaz 25:30.8 11. Brandon Bonsey 26:01.0 17. Alex Bean 26:18.2 21. Owen Boyle 26:38.6 37. Rasheed Thompson 27:15.2 46. Scott Bastek 28:07.0
Still to make their debut are Dan Nunn, Alex Mason, Sandy Roberts, and Dan Gerber. Maybe reformation was right in his thinking that the two freshmen (SR, DG) will be reshirted. Freshmen Alex Bean and Owen Boyle had decent results today. Brandon Bonsey did well.

I totally missed the women's results. As with the men, they ran an entirely different team and still lost to Duke by only 10 points.
