I think these or similar plans have been posted before. Aside from the arena, the other aspect I really like in the Hughes Group plan is the track with a soccer field in the center.

That plan came through prior to the shifts in AD leadership, so I'm not sure if Hughes is still involved in any of these projects, though I know folks are working to maximize the little space available on campus.

These links were originally posted at least a year ago... maybe more.
What has happened since? So very little, outside Phase I of the MSF. Wonder if we'll ever see all/any of this completed.

Man, seeing the pictures in that second link again just makes me sad. So much time has elapsed, and so little progress made. That vision for GU sports is great, but we're stuck going nowhere.
Something REALLY needs to be done about that. I only wish I knew exactly what.

Raise $20M, that's the singular driving force, and what's keeping it from being a reality.

Raise $20M, that's the singular driving force, and what's keeping it from being a reality. If that were the case, I'd assume that the rumored (actual?) upcomming SECOND "Third Century Campaign" could cover most - if not all - of those costs?

No it wouldn't cover anything. The University would not give anything it raised for itself...
