The National Association of Collegiate Director of Athletics Cup was won again (yawn) by Stanford. Notre Dame was the highest performing BE school at about five or six. Georgetown was 68th (one place better than Harvard; Headline: Georgetown is better than Harvard) with 229 points.

Better than last year, but still one of the worst finishes for the hoyas in recent years. Hopefully the impact of increased scholarships will be felt in sports like men's and women's soccer. If one of those teams and one of the golf teams can make it into postseason play (with track, MBB, and the LAXes holding constant), that alone should bump us up a dozen spots in the rankings.
We did get hit this year by the NACDA's decision to make lacrosse a 50% sport, which cost us about 30 points in the rankings (and would have had us in at #61 instead of #68).
