Looking at the bracket, we easily have the toughest road of any team, and that may be partly due to the pre-season belief that we were rebuilding & the loss of Brodie would kill our D. Anyway, my PREDICTED Final 4 would be:
GU (or UVA)---I REALLY think we can win if D is on top of game
JHU
Cornell
Maryland
The Final 4 I would like to see (even though the event is basically sold out) would be the one that the NCAA can do nothing to promote------(Plus the fact that I'll be in Aruba & not Philly Mem. Day WE):
GU
Syracuse--General consensus this year is THEY are rebuilding, with losses to Army & Hobart (even though Hobart has a very good team this year). Plus, the competitiveness of the SU/GU "rivalry" is not respected in lax, partly because we played them in California last year.
Hofstra--Noone REALLY knows how good they are, and there is no long-standing tradition here.
Princeton--(See reasons for SU, minus the matchup with us)
Anyone else care to chime in?

My predictions for the final four UVA( sorry the'yre just better than everyone), JHU, Hofstra( they really are legit), Princeton( maryland is greatly overranked. their two spot is ridiculous) I think the final will be UVA and hofstra with UVA winning it all.

Predictions:
UVA, Cuse, Cornell (tho I'm pulling for Hofstra...this was def the hardest one to pick) and Princeton.
Everybody gets giddy because the good ol' boys of 'cuse and Princeton are back after down years.
Princeton overcomes Cornell 1-0 in double OT.
No matter what is happenning, people will unduly talk about Joe Walters of Maryland being the greatest player in the game and never give UVA's Matt Ward enough credit for playing with a broken bone in his hand.
EVERY great play will be an example of "why lacrosse isn't as bad as the Duke lax team wants you to believe"

GU, UVA, Cornell, and Cuse Erroneous! Gonna be kinda hard for two teams scheduled to play in the round of eight to both make it to the Final Four.

Virginia (we certainly CAN pull it off, but it'll take one hell of a game)
Hopkins (which leaves the door open for my Lax Final Four drinking game--mentions of Kyle Harrison and/or his dad during Hopkins games vs. mentions of Duke lacrosse).
Cornell (cause nothing says "we're throwing a bone to the non-traditional championship weekend schools" like an Ivy league team with three national titles and 3 runner ups to its name)
Princeton (a Final Four rematch of their classic 4-3 barnburner with Cornell from earlier this season...I got 7 minutes into the second quarter in the "when will the first E-A-G-L-E-S...EAGLES!! chant start" pool...and NO in the "will the majority of Philly natives spell it correctly" pool.)
Virginia beats Hopkins 11-10, as a Cavalier long-stick takes time out from JHU's final possession to duct tape his keeper to the near post...
Princeton beats Cornell 1-0 in triple OT...a very Duke lacrosse kind of score (DRINK)
and Virginia beats Princeton 45-2 in the final.

First of all, screw you. Second of all, I will make sure the chant starts FIVE minutes into the FIRST quarter of the semifinal. And if/when UVA plays at the Final Four, I will start the "Let's Go Hoyas" chant that will have me escorted from the building about two minutes into the game.
