I don't see any articles yet. Apparently we were down 8-4 at one point.

You win this round, CT. ;D Seriously though, would it kill Penn State University to have even a Gametracker for this bad boy?
I wish I had something better to go off than the forum updates on Laxpower...but apparently we scored twice in the final minute or so of the game, including off a steal and a fastbreak for the GW* goal.
(That stands for game-winning, not the reverse of WG!)
Nice to inflict a tough (probably season-ending) defeat on PSU after the one they hung on us last year in OT at North Kehoe Patch of Semi-Dead Grass.
Sooooooo...I guess I'll see you guys next week at the MSF for the Hoyas' first round NCAA Tournament game. FYI, selection show is Sunday at 8:30 on ESPNews.

Yeah, you'd really think PSU could find a way to broadcast these things - radio at the very least. I mean, the GU guy does a great job by himself in the booth, with just a camera man - though sometimes I'm not even sure he has that. But the cost is basically one $400 camera, one computer with internet access, and one guy who dreams about being Bob Costas. Whatever.
Oh, and people will be interested to know that D'Andrea either got hurt or pulled after 3 quarters and Kass played the 4th when we outscored them 3-0 to get the win. Kass's performance would mean more if he had faced a shot on goal (he didn't), but the question of who starts the NCAAs continues to be a tough one. This is two straight not-so-sharp days from Rich.
Other interesting stats: 3 goals and 3 assists for the Cannon brothers total. Brendan continues to make the offense run. Casey got the game winner. Whatever happened to Denihan this year? He had one good game the whole way. We gave up 5 EMO, and PSU scored on 3 of them. Got to cut down on that.
Anyway, we got the ECAC in our pocket, and now, for the 234rd consecutive year, we have a chance to join the really elite group of teams in the country. Hopefully I'll be at the MSF next week, watching us wax some AQ to get into the Elite Eight and get yet another chance at breaking the curse.

Two big wins on the road today for the Hoya lax teams. Congratulations to both squads on the completion of outstanding regular seasons. Now let's make some noise in the brackets!

But you know who has been doing very well this season, Andrew Baird. It's like he's a different player from last year. He is supposed to be a man-up guy but has been getting time in more situation and the coaches obviously trust him when in a tough situation. I like Andy, and for himself and the team, I sure hope he keeps it up.
