I think they are showing a large portion of this on free public tv here in Warsaw. They show random meets pretty often over here, but Im not usually all that interested. Maybe I'll watch a little more than the max 5 minutes that I usually do.

This webcast is not available in Europe. It had great coverage, and since my sound card doesn't work, no annoying commentary. Also, in Poland, they should have shown the whole of the 20K racewalk, since their countryman, Robert Korzeniowski, though retired, was the world champion. His protege, Fernandez of Spain (?) finished 2nd.

nevada, thanks for the link--great coverage(btw I've been Editeded that ESPN has not been showing the Golden league meets this yr like they did last yr).
BTW, I think Lukezic ran one of the best tactical 1500m by an american in a major intl competition in a long time. His 800m speed did him well. Im not as sure about his ability to unleash that type of kick off a very fast pace, not sure he has the strength yet, but lets hope he can make the final.

Reformation, I agree. Chris ran patient and smart and managed to open a hole at the end (I was afraid that Kenya would lodge a protest, since the odd man out at the end of that heat was Daniel Komen, one of the favorites). Chris almost finessed an opening. I think Chris will be one of the best milers in a couple of years, as he gets experience and strength. You are right about the ability to unleash that kind of kick after a fast pace right now. But it was great that he was able to move on today. I got really excited because I thought he got a place in the finals. They would have taken the top three and the next two best times, but alas today they took the best five and the best nine best times. We shall see how the semis go on Monday. I am trying to see how I can rearrange my work schedule, because I think the races go off between 9 and 10 in the morning Pacific time. Glad you like the coverage.
